Skilled and flexible Master Technician required for a varied role at our commercial workshop at Heathrow.
Working with our VW Commercial Vehicle team based at Heathrow, you'll be responsible for completion of all required work to VWG Brand standards and promoting growth of our technicians skillset.
With great soft skills and an ability to mentor, and support, you will be the "go to" for technicians who need support, knowledge, technical training and assistance to bring them up to the next level and to get the job done.
Work includes complex diagnostics including warranty work along with ensuring that our workshop and diagnostic equipment meet brand standards. Having some knowledge and training within High Voltage would be an advantage but the drive and passion to learn more is a must. You will actively promote the importance of repair quality, striving to meet first fix solutions. You will share technical information with the team, work with other departments ensuring open lines of communication, which in turn, will allow us to provide an exceptional customer service experience to our customers.
As Master Tech you'll be able to identify skills gaps within the team and put forward suggestions as to how those gaps may be filled with training and/or mentoring or even technical knowledge.
As a fully accredited VW Master Tech you can expect to earn a basic of £45k per annum, OTE a realistic £66k per annum (based on bonus, average overtime and working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings).

Basic Contracted Hours are 40 per week – Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with 60 minute unpaid lunch)
Weekends and outside basic hours paid at Overtime Rate x 1.5
Additional efficiency bonus up to £6,000.00 per annum available on reaching target (paid monthly)
