About the role
Primarily responsible for the co-ordination, reporting, packing and shipment of all finished goods sales order requirements and ad-hoc miscellaneous shipping request
- Daily Shipping materials review and preparation.
- Daily coordination of Shipping Requests.
- Pick, inspect, pack and report all shipment requests.
- Co-ordination of all outbound logistics courier services.
- Import and Export controls
- Ad-hoc shipping request coordination
- Monitoring, tracking and progressing of orders to customers committed delivery date.
- Storage and organisation of all relevant shipping materials including cycle count, inventory issue and stock check control.
- Storage and organisation of all Finished Goods inventory including cycle count, inventory issue and stock check control.
- Support site incoming materials
- Continuous Improvements Projects – standardisation across group.
- Process SOP (Standard operating procedures) generation & team training.
- Generate and maintain visual workplace standards.
- Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.
- Support other Materials and Logistics activities as and when required
- Previous experience in a dispatch environment including shipping goods and materials
- Previous import/export control experience
- Similar experience in a high-volume manufacturing company is desirable.
- Hazardous Goods awareness
- Basic COMAH Awareness
- ADR Certified is desirable
- Competent IT skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Shipping/Export Coordination
- Attention to detail.
- Driver License
- Forklift License
