We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide cover across multiple secondary schools in the Chester area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons to students across different secondary schools in Chester.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff and fellow educators to ensure consistency and alignment with curriculum objectives.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:
- Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
- Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
- Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
- Follow school policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage behaviour effectively
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
- Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
- You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
