We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide cover across multiple secondary schools in the Chester area.

As part of the Educate Group team, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in mathematics, fostering a love for the subject and promoting academic excellence. Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons to students across different secondary schools in Chester.
2. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
3. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
4. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with school staff and fellow educators to ensure consistency and alignment with curriculum objectives.
6. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

• Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
• Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
• Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
• Flexibility and adaptability

Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
• You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
