Role: Teacher of Maths Location: Hove Contract: Temporary until July 2024 Hours: Full Time Salary: MPR/UPR Start: April 2024 Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a mixed secondary school located in Hove, graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted. The school are seeking to appoint a teacher of Maths to join their department from April 2024, for an initial period of one term, until July 2024. The successful teacher would be required to teach Maths at KS3 and KS4. This post would suit a newly qualified teacher as well as more experienced teachers. The successful candidate would benefit from a high level of support and continuing professional development. There is potential for a longer term, and possible permanent role foe the right educator. Ideally you will: Be an excellent classroom practitioner with an enjoyment of working with young people. Have effective classroom management and an ability to demonstrate resilience in working with challenging behaviour. Have effective time management; able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets. Be an excellent team player, genuinely committed to working in partnership with others. Be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Be a reflective practitioner committed to developing own teaching and learning strategies.
