The Company
A mechanical contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality installations on projects primarily in the Northwest up to a value of 2.5m. Growth is founded on repeat business from clients in sectors including healthcare, education, heritage, new build, commercial and industrial.
The Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Services Contracts Engineer to join a growing company. Along with a maintenance division, our client has a combined turnover in excess of £8m which utilises trained and qualified office and site engineers to provide an unrivalled level of installation and service.
Duties include:
- Integrate with the team and manage ongoing projects.
- Provide commercial & practical engineering contract management.
- Take financial control of Projects managed.
- Manage, guide and direct Mechanical operatives & Subcontractors on projects by project basis.
- Assist with tendering traditional and D&B submissions.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety issues.
Benefits:
The role comes with an attractive remuneration package, negotiable circa £40k - £55k pa depending on experience, other benefits include Pension, Mobile Phone, Laptop, Free onsite parking, Company Car
Preferred academic / professional qualifications:
- City & guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 and AM2 or NVQ level 3, or
- ONC/HNC or higher in Building Services
