Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly expanding manufacturer, in a technically interesting, where you'll be able to manage design projects through from concept to manufacturing.
On offer is the opportunity to join a successful product manufacturer, who supply their goods to highly reputable customers, in a varied and autonomous role with industry training provided.
This long-established interior product manufacturer offer a great work environment and are currently in a cycle of sustained growth. They are seeking an additional CAD Technician to join their close-knit design department.
In this role you'll be using SolidWorks to design visually interesting furniture, retail and point-of-sale pieces. You'll be seeing projects through to production, dealing with Bills of Materials and troubleshooting issues that make it into production.

THE ROLE:
*Designing furniture/retail units using SolidWorks
*Project Management of design projects into manufacturing
*Days Based - M-F, 40 hours a week
*On-going personal development
THE PERSON:
*Proficient SolidWorks experience
*Either a motivated graduate or an experienced candidate
*CAD Technician experience
*Experience working with Timber/Wood preferred
*Ideally has experience within retail, kitchen, furniture sectors
