Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Taking and understanding the technical requirements and scope of work for each project.
- Primarily focus on designing robotic packaging and automation systems. Both components and system design as well as layout designs
- Collaborating closely with the project team, production team and the end customers
- Designing robot cells, end of arm tooling, conveyors and feeders.
- Test and troubleshooting equipment when required. Supporting the production and installation team.
Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer will require the following experience:
- Must have an understanding of pneumatics / pneumatic circuitry
- Proficient CAD user (Solidworks and AutoCAD on site – Not essential)
- Knowledge of EU machinery directives. Confident working with fabrication and machining processes
- 7:30 – 4:30 (Monday to Thursday) 7:30 – 3:30 (Friday)
