AddressDuties:
Responsible formechanicalDesign Engineering tasks to include;
Generate technical documents including proposals and statement of works.
Drafting technical documents including proposals and statements of work.
Production of engineering drawings and specifications including the integration of multiple services to containerised structures.
Assessment of estimates / cost reports.
Preparing and reviewing manufacturing documentation packages.
Procurement, including quotation requests & order placement.
Production of bills of materials.
Assisting with bid work
Liaison with suppliers and manufacturers.
Participation in design review meetings, internal and external.
Location: Osprey Quay, Portland
Start: April 2019
Qualifications Required:
Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in a design and development environment.
Previous experience of integration of multiple services within containerised modules advantageous.
Experience required:
Must be proficient in the use of Solidworks, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of BS/ISO Standards.
Good technical understanding of engineering principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Creative problem solver with an analytical approach to implementation.
Be self-motivated and proactive in progressing deliverables required for assigned projects.
