Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Design will include but is not limited to:
- Surveys of existing services/systems/layouts
- Heat systems
- Ventilation
- Water services
- Waste/sanitation/steam layouts
- Plantroom drawings
- Create briefing documents, proposals, and specifications of work where necessary.
- Provide budgets and costs for tender and construction.
- Management of assigned projects, planning and scheduling work and incident management from briefing stage through to valuation.
- Site inspections and witness test installations.
- Sign off successful test installations, and/or report on snagging issues where necessary.
- QA checks, attend monthly design meetings and present monthly progress reports.
- Identify opportunities for increasing process efficiencies and professional training & development.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working within a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering consulting environment.
- HNC or degree qualified - chartered or working towards chartership.
- Experience working within a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering consulting environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit and IES, producing high quality Mechanical Designs.
- Team-centric attitude with the desire tomentor and coach junior team members.
