Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Integra are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in the Morley area of Leeds, LS27.

We are working with an extremely well known and reputable employer who are a global leader in high performance steel wire products.

As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment and mechanical systems across the site and will include a range of duties including:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Respond to breakdowns
• Identify faults, diagnosing and repair equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and ensure that all equipment is safe and compliant with health & safety legislation

Qualifications/Experience of the Mechanical Engineer:

• Heavy industry experience
• Time-served Apprenticeship / HNC qualifications with experience
• Fault-finding ability
• Hydraulic, Pneumatic experience is essential, including reading drawings
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Welding qualification/experience would be an advantage
