Working within the Vessel Operation Team, the Mechanical Technician will build and maintain the mechanical assembly of the vessel.
You'll be working Monday to Friday hours as part of multi-skilled team with a strong focus on quality, working with ground breaking technology and high value premium parts/ materials.
Suitable candidates will need Mechanical experience with a qualified apprenticeship, ideally with experience in a similar sector such as marine, automotive or aerospace. Knowledge of electrical systems LV, HV, EV's and some Hydraulics is an advantage.

Mechanical assembly, build and install on new vesselsCarry out diagnostic tests on mechanical systemsMechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairOptimise mechanical efficiency, adjusting machinery and equipmentRecord and document mechanical service recordsMonitor availability of parts and suppliesWork in other areas of production as part of a team if requiredWork to high quality standards and good H&S practice
What we are looking for
Level 3 apprenticeship in a Mechanical disciplineProven Mechanical experience, preferably automotive, marine or aerospaceExcellent knowledge of mechanical systems, install, maintenance and repairsCan read and understand engineering drawingsStrong analytical, fault finding and problem-solving abilityKnowledge of electrical systems HV, LV and EV's is an advantageKnowledge of hydraulics and composites is an advantage
