Our client are looking to appoint an Equipment Assembly Technician to assist in the machining, manufacturing and build-up of enclosures, equipment and machinery on the factory floor.
The role is very varied and requires machining, fitting, assembly, fault finding and pneumatic skills.
Some of the typical duties are as follows:
- Fitting and assembly work on the factory floor
- Conducting trials and tests on machinery
- Piping, testing and fault-finding pneumatics logic circuits
- Assembly, commissioning, support and service work at customers sites
**A certain amount of travel is required to support the companies worldwide customer base**
What you'll need to be successful:
- Good basic engineering skills
- Ability to interpret equipment assembly drawings and maintain the high-quality finish and output levels expected by their customers
- Practical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining
- Ideally some exposure to pneumatics and installation/commissioning work at customer sites
- A recognised engineering certification/apprenticeship
**This role does include some global travel to client sites**
