With a prime location just a 6-minute walk from London Bridge train station, you’ll be at the heart of the action.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective Media Relations strategies to enhance the organisation’s brand presence
• Act as the primary contact for media inquiries and build strong relationships with journalists
• Create and distribute compelling press releases, media kits, and other materials to generate media coverage
• Monitor and analyse media coverage, staying updated on industry trends and identifying opportunities for proactive outreach
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across all channels
• Handle crisis communications and provide timely and accurate responses to mitigate any potential reputational risks
• Manage media events, including press conferences, product launches, and industry tradeshows

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Proven experience in Media Relations, preferably within the transportation or related industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Strong media network and existing relationships with journalists and influencers
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
• Proficient in media monitoring and analysis tools
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
