They are looking for a Media Relations Manager to join the busy team in a fast paced and high-profile environment. With almost 2000 trains running every single day, and around 130 million passengers per year, the External Comms teamwork across a range of local, national and trade press. The external comms teams and the Media Relations Manager will enhance and protect the company’s reputation and demonstrate how the company is delivering improved and sustainable rail travel.OpportunityYou will be able to prove yourself as the internal subject matter expert when dealing with all aspects of the media and providing guidance for senior leaders. You will be trusted to build a reputation within the business and will be a well-known face within the business and the wider rail industry. You will be working at the heart of one of the nation’s largest, busiest and most high-profile industries. This makes no 2 days the same, therefore you will be juggling well varied stories and journalists throughout the week.
