The Role

We're looking for organised and hardworking people to join our growing Medical Operations Support team. You will work closely with our Medical Operations and Clinical team, responsible for processing prescriptions, referrals, discharge summaries for our patients, to guarantee a fantastic post-consultation experience.


What you will do


This is an exciting opportunity to join our Medical Operations department and become a key-player in supporting the delivery of our remote GP services. This position will be full-time and on an initial 1 year FTC basis. Your place of work will be a hybrid of working from home and from our London office a short walk from Liverpool Street station. Generally your working hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with the need for weekend cover on a rota basis for which you will get days off in Lieu.


Core responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately process all referrals, prescriptions & fit notes for our patients in a timely fashion and in line with KPIs/SLAs
  • Send out discharge summaries to the patients and their practices
  • Support our clinicians with any ad hoc requests when required
  • Provide feedback to help to improve pathways/processes in the future
  • Communicate with and support our GP's and other admin teams on a day to day basis
  • Utilise excellent attention to detail to efficiently book in patients into our medical record system
  • Ad hoc duties when required
  • Send discharge summaries to patient practices

You will also:

  • Liaise with external stakeholders to resolve issues (via phone and email)
  • Building relationships across the team within the service by providing administrative support to them

Who you are


  • Previous administrative experience is desirable, and confidence using the phone when calls to patients/GP Practices are required
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers/patients and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills: proficient in English, both spoken and written
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to use multiple systems and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving capability
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An interest in the healthcare sector is essential
  • Independent, well organised and with a "can-do" attitude
  • Can commit to weekends and afternoons/evenings
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of GDPR
