A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join our friendly GP Surgery in the centre of Bath. This is an interesting and varied job, and very much about providing a high level of service to our patients and supporting our clinical team.
The ideal candidate will be bright, keen and organised and be able to perform tasks accurately and in a time efficient manner. Previous experience working in an administration environment is essential.
You will be flexible with regards to your work and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Previous experience of working in the NHS would be good and use of a clinical system would be an advantage – we use System One - but training would be given to the right candidate if you’ve never worked in a GP Surgery previously. Your tasks would include providing a high level of care and customer service to our patients face to face at reception or in the admin office via the telephone – answering patient enquiries, booking appointments, registering patients and preparing prescriptions.
The position is for 24 hours comprising Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is also an expectation to be able to cover overtime and absence where required.
We have very limited parking at the surgery so please consider this when applying.
