Membership Administrator

Job description

Shiatsu Society UK is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Membership Administrator to join our team. The Membership Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of our membership process, ensuring a seamless experience for our members and fostering a vibrant community within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Membership Management:

• Process new member registrations and renewals promptly and accurately, ensuring they meet the requirements for their membership category.
• Maintain precise member records, including contact information, subscription details, membership status, and payment status.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new members on our website, setting up their payment schedule for the 12-month period.
• Monitor membership metrics and generate regular reports for management review.
• Encourage members to explore opportunities for advancing their membership level and provide resources for their development.
• Monitor and manage the membership@, office@, and contact@ inboxes, responding to member inquiries in a timely manner.
• Keep the SSUK database updated with any changes to member details as necessary.
• Facilitate the upgrading or downgrading of membership categories for members as requested.
• Monitor for mandate failures and failed payments and create a monthly reconciliation sheet for payments.

2. Member Support:

• Assist in the ongoing campaign to encourage members to update their profiles and complete their profile listings.
• Conduct 1-2-1 support sessions, including email and Zoom calls, to assist members with their profiles and CPD logs completion and address any related questions or concerns.
• Respond promptly and professionally to membership inquiries received via email, phone, or remote sessions.
• Address member concerns and troubleshoot technical issues related to membership access or billing efficiently and effectively.
• Offer guidance and support to members as they navigate the website and seek to access resources, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience.
• Provide support with various administrative tasks related to membership, including processing payments, issuing refunds, and managing cancellations efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth integration of membership services with other website functionalities, such as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules and profile pages, to enhance the overall user experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
