We are looking for dedicated Day & Night Mental Health Support Worker to join The Links Care Centre, Bradford, BD3 7NJ. You will join our team in caring and supporting vulnerable adults . One years experience in the health care environment is required and we will fully train you to ensure you have all the skills needed to provide the very highest standard of care
As a Mental Health Support Worker this means you are integral to the day to day lives of the people you care for, helping with various activities such as assistance with personal care, social inclusion, maintaining health and well-being and, being the linchpin to their quality of life. You will need to be able to work flexibly across a 7 - day rota including bank holidays, weekends and nights. Mental Health Support Worker roles offer you a chance to make a genuine difference to people’s lives and no day will be the same. You will have experience in providing excellent care and support to adults who have a variety of needs such as Mental Health, physical disabilities, dementia, rehabilitation support and behaviours that may challenge. You will hold people’s dignity, respect, privacy, choice and independence at the forefront of your approach to ensure you're always delivering person centred care and support to our residents. All our employees complete a comprehensive in-service induction programme that includes shadow shifts before working with the people we support. You will be enrolled to our excellent e-learning programmes and, face to face training and development sessions to enhance and refresh your skills and knowledge. You’ll receive one to one supervision with your line manager along with an annual appraisal.
