Job description

Rethink Mental Illness are an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness.

We are looking for a either full-time or part-time Mental Health Recovery Workers to join their passionate and friendly team at our Price of Peace Service in Hatherleigh.

The role may require you to work: 8 hours per shift, with at least one sleepover. Weekend work and working on bank holidays is also required. (This can be discussed)

Additional payments: you will receive additional payments for working anti-social hours, eg: evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will also receive an additional payment per sleeping shift.

Overview of the role purpose

As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.

You do not need previous work experience to apply for this role throughout your time at Rethink we will support you on your learning journey helping you develop in the area of work.
