Mental Health Recovery Worker

We have an exciting opportunity in our Devon Integrated Treatment Service (Together).
This will contribute to the safety of communities from Mental health-related crime and reduce recidivism. By working as part of a skilled and motivated team based in Exeter, supported by a senior clinical psychiatrist (or psychologist), the Mental Health Recovery Worker, will improve access to appropriate services, delivering evidence-based interventions and assertively engaging clients with agencies and services that will optimise successful treatment outcomes. Good communication and networking skills will ensure the right access at the right time.
You will be required to be confident in using case management systems to accurately record client data. You will have previous voluntary or paid experience of working in a client-facing role and using active listening skills on a day-to-day basis. Ideally, you will have experience working with Mental Health.
The right individual for this role will be motivated, proactive problem solvers who are passionate about delivering a high standard of care to our service users.
Duties of this role include:
- Undertaking Comprehensive Assessments
- Carrying out risk assessments and risk management plans
- Identifying appropriate Mental Health interventions for assessed clients
- Carrying a maximum caseload of 20 clients
- Facilitating appropriate Mental Health interventions
- Liaising with partnership agencies to give the best care and support to clients under your care
- Attending and participating in relevant service meetings
- The role might require some evening working
