Merchandising Workstream Lead - S4Hana - 18 Month Ftc

This is an exciting opportunity for a "Head of Transformation" or "Programme Director" to work on a S4HANA implementation for a retail business in London. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end ERP implementation and Merchandising experience.

The Workstream Lead is responsible for overseeing specific business areas within the ERP replacement programme, ensuring that the ERP system meets the business requirements and follows standardized processes. You'll play a critical role in the design, build, and test phases of the project.

To be successful in this role, the roleholder needs to have a strategic mindset and effective communication skills. you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the ERP system's functionality aligns with the business needs.

In addition, you should have a blend of technical expertise, business knowledge, and leadership skills. You'll be able to navigate the complexities of the ERP implementation programme during delivery. It's expected that you'll already hold a senior leadership role, such as a Head of, and has hands-on experience at multiple levels in their functional area of expertise.

Key experience required:

• A strong understanding of existing business processes, there purpose, and how they integrate with other business functions.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current processes, identify gaps, and design solutions within the ERP framework.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts.
• Knowledge of change management principles to navigate and lead teams through the changes introduced by the ERP implementation.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills to address challenges and roadblocks during the design phase.
• Previous experience leading cross-functional teams in complex Programmes.
• S/4HANA experience is not a pre-requisite, however you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track-record of supporting Merchandising functions through major ERP changes which have required re-design of processes.
