This role sits within the influential Compliance MI & Reporting team, which provides qualitative and quantitative compliance management information (MI) covering all lines of businesses across the world.
The MI is aimed at assisting HSBC’s management of compliance risk and at creating transparency towards external parties.
This role primarily supports the team creating Qliksense dashboards.
The MI Business Analyst supports the execution of the Compliance Management Information. You will be responsible for:
• The specification, design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose, globally consistent and high-quality reporting portfolio for HSBC’s management of compliance and regulatory risk within the Compliance MI function.
• Assessing allocated MI requests and identifying, designing, and recommending solutions and processes that will maximize the value delivered to the organization. Projects are typically run following Agile methodologies and utilizing tools such as JIRA to plan, track and deliver requirements and utilise audit recognised software solutions and source systems to deliver metric output collections of data.
• Driving requirements fulfilment all the way through to successfully closing out post implementation activities.
• Using judgment and expertise in evaluating complex and competing requests. Typical deliverables include JIRA Boards and stories, Impact Assessments, project plans, business requirements documents (BRD), flow charts, data models and business cases.
