Job Description:

We looking for a Senior Buyer, specialising in Confectionary, to join a growing team for one of the UK’s leading food manufactures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, a “hunger” for sourcing new products and strong negotiation expertise within the confectionary category. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales growth
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure product quality and availability
• Analyse market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing plans
• Sourcing and developing new products

Key Experience:

• A minimum of two years of experience in category management, preferably in the confectionary industry
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of category specific success
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation skills
