Senior Buyer - Infrastructure Services

We are looking for experienced Senior Buyers for an exciting opportunity, working for a major name utilities organisation. Some UCR/PCR experience beneficial…       

Our client, a major name in the utilities sector, is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer with Services category knowledge, ideally from a Construction, Engineering or Utilities background.

This is a new position to support our client through an exciting period of transition and growth, to help implement brand new sourcing strategies across a greenfield area of spend.

They are also looking for 2 Senior Buyers with IT procurement experience to support the Procurement Manager.

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and how to operate within the framework. Extensive knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and other relevant regulations and laws.
• Experience as a Senior Procurement Buyer on large-scale, multi-national or cross-functional utilities or major infrastructure programmes.
• Experience of strategic sourcing, category management, leading & negotiating high complexity and value large-scale procurements.
• Skills in project reporting including KPIs within either procurement, delivery or operational stages of complex infrastructure projects.

Hybrid working – very flexible with only 2 days a month required at HQ in West Midlands.
