WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Reconcile client cash and stock positions and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure client positions are correct and fully reconciled.
- Monitor trade settlements and ensure best execution has been achieved.
- Update manual prices.
- Weekly reconciliations and fund sign offs for the collective investment schemes managed by the firm, including Bloomberg concentration checks.
- Retrieve and update monthly Bloomberg indices.
- Monitor corporate actions.
- To keep line manager informed of issues encountered when performing tasks.
- To monitor work emails and, where applicable, ensure appropriate actions are taken and responses sent.
- Liaise with custodians, fund administrators and other external relationships.
- Ad-hoc support and project work as required.
- Be well organised with strong attention to detail and excellent technical skills.
- Have a flexible approach to workloads.
- Be able to manage a busy and varied workload while maintaining high standards.
- Exhibit competence in data manipulation and verification.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Exercise integrity and discretion when handling confidential client information.
- Have an advanced knowledge of Excel and other applications e.g. VBA, Python.
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team.
- To understand and implement instructions correctly.
- Understand the regulatory environment the firm operates within.
