- Founded in 2021, Make Mine is a social-first content production studio based in Central London.
- We are a challenger production company, identifying the problems with current content offerings and giving clients a new, fresh, more in-tune model to suit today’s content needs.
- We have great exposure to the London start-up ecosystem and have links to many larger brands. Some companies we work with are Vita Coco, Tangle Teezer, Candy Kittens, Surreal, Dash Water, JD Sports and many more…

Job Description…
- Make Mine is on the hunt for a middleweight-level and above Video Editor focussed on social first content (branded content + paid ads) to help expand our small team to keep up with our continued growth and client demand. This position offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team early on, grow with the company, and develop your career. There will be a focus on editing but also some time on-set.
Your responsibilities will be…
- Editing a range of content from paid ads, to hero videos, to crowd funders (and much more).
- Organising and processing rushes/RAWs into an edit ready point.
- Helping run the production process. Take an active role pre-production, brainstorming, storyboarding, and planning shoots.
- Having input in creative conversations around briefs and brand.
- Contributing innovative ideas and techniques to enhance the visual quality and storytelling of assets.
- Assisting on content shoot days (with scope to shoot if this is attractive to you).
- To make sure that when assets go out to clients that everything looks and sounds amazing.
- To make clients feel that we have gone above and beyond what other production companies do, we need to show we really care.
- To keep up to date with current video trends to see what other brands/creators are doing.
- To be in the office 3-days a week (Hybrid Role).
- To use our systems and processes to make sure each project is carried out in a uniform way.

Skills and Experience Required
We’re looking for someone who…
- Has pre-existing experience creating content optimised for socials, think organic branded content and paid ads, for examples click here for paid ads & here for branded content.
- Is excited about the prospect of working in a small team and helping to grow the company.
- Has strong experience in a similar role or freelance experience at middleweight-level or above.
- Is an expert in Adobe Premier Pro and has experience using After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator (an added bonus would be experience using DaVinci).
- Can own the editing process to deliver assets to a polished client-ready level.
- Can use their creativity/organisation along with our company systems when working on projects to ensure that the process is smooth and delivered on time.
- Is passionate about learning and finds those marginal gains on every brief, bringing in their own ideas to the production process.
- Is able to tell story through video, understanding what the job of the content is and how it should make the viewer feel.
- Has knowledge and enthusiasm for short form social content (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts etc).
- Has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in their work.
- Lives in London or easy commuting distance.
