Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals including any special dietary requirements
- Cleaningdutieswithinthekitchen/diningarea
- Stocktaking/ordering
- Maintainingbudgets
- AdheretoFoodSafety Management System
- Health & Safety compliance
- Food service to students & staff
- Friendly and polite customer service
- Deputise for Cook Manager in their absence
- IT literate
- It is essential to have a valid driving licence and your own transport.
Ideal candidate
- Passionate about food
- Previous catering experience is desirable
- Able to manage and motivate a team
- Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- The ability to communicate fluently with customers in accurate spoken and written English is essential for the post
