Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 5pm & Friday 8.30am until 4pm – 39 hours per week – *The role includes travel and overnight stays*

Our long standing Daventry client are looking to recruit a permanent Mobile Power Tool Repair Technician.
Job Role:
To carry out hand and arm vibration testing on vibrating Power Tools at our clients customers sites all over the country and record data. To carry out servicing and repairs on electric and pneumatic tools at our clients Daventry facility.
Mobile Power Tool Repair Technician responsibilities:
- Travel to customer’s sites and carry out vibration testing on Power Tools in use, in accordance with ISO5349-1:2001
- Record results and input data into report format
- Strip, service and repair a range of pneumatic and electric Power Tools when not off-site testing according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Record customer’s Power Tool details onto spreadsheets and raise job tickets for repairs
- Provide support and technical advice for customers
- Monitor stock levels for MTS products, spares etc
- Become fully conversant with MTS systems
- Provide updates on supplier performance and promptly advise of any issues arising
- Aid in organising tool service scheduling
Mobile Power Tool Repair Technician requirements / specification:
- The person required to fill this role needs to have worked with Power Tools and to understand Hand Arm Vibration testing methods and Power Tool Repair / maintenance
- You must be prepared to travel and stay away from home for periods
- You will have use of a company pool van for travel to customer’s premises, so a full driving licence is essential
- You will need to be confident in front of customers and understand the customer service ethos while representing our client
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer literate
*Full training will be provided, including a specific 2-day course and written exam for the HAV qualification, to ensure the successful candidate fully understands the range of tools and services provided by our client*
