Mobile Vehicle Technician

Roadside technician (Service, maintenance, repair) - Exeter

Salary: Up to £34,560+ OTE + £2000 sign on Bonus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 1 in 3 Saturdays - 40hr pr week

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's team in Exeter.

My client has been established since 1897, they are a successful and progressive company that are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians.

The successful Roadside Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Roadside Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Roadside Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence- no more than 6 points.
• Ideally you will have a NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair however, we would be open to looking at level 2.
• Minimum 1 years' Experience as a Vehicle Technician is required
