Roles and Responsibilities
They are looking for a hardworking and detail orientated mortgage processor to join the team – they will play a key role in providing assistance to clients, brokers, suppliers and lenders with queries, ensuring underwriters have all the information necessary to assess mortgage applications. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Processing mortgage applications using multiple lender portals,
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy when inputting data,
- Completing tasks within agreed service standards,
- Liaising regularly with third parties including clients, brokers, lenders and the internal Mortgage Advisor team – establishing strong working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Prioritising daily tasks requiring good organization skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually according to the needs of the role,
- An individual who adopts a ‘can do’ attitude and who can work with a positive mindset towards agreed targets,
- A collaborator who will help to ensure technical expertise is shared amongst the team
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements
- Previous experience with data entry and administration is preferable,
- Ability to work successfully within the regulatory mortgage environment (previous experience in Financial Services is preferable),
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Methodical and highly organized,
- Computer literate and good typing skills,
- Accurate with good attention to detail,
- Ability to problem solve,
- Ability to thrive in a high pressured, fast paced environment,
- A Professional individual who has the ability to demonstrate an excellent telephone manner.
