SalaryThis is an outstanding opportunity for a talented journalist to develop their skills, experience and contacts generating written, audio and film content. The IBA is the leading international membership organisation for the legal profession, with over 80,000 members worldwide. As such it provides access to some of the most influential figures in international affairs, including Nobel laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners and Prime Ministers. The organisation produces a wide range of content, including flagship features driven magazine Global Insight and related online output, including podcasts and film.
Key Accountabilities
- To report on developments in the areas core to the IBA, including international law, business, and international justice and human rights.
- To respond quickly and take full advantage of extensive opportunities that the IBA presents in order to generate high-level, unique content.
- To assist in generating lively, informative and engaging copy for the IBA’s magazine publications, primarily Global Insight.
- To swiftly and proactively generate timely news analysis articles that can appear on the website first, but be developed into more extended features where appropriate..
- To assist in generating high-level audio and film, through Global Insight podcasts and through the IBA’s extended filmed interviews and occasional short documentary formats.
