Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
The company is a leading manufacturer in their field and are a long-standing well-known business based in Pocklington.
They operate a rotating weekly shift pattern offering an excellent work life balance. 4 x Days one week, 4 x nights the next week. Monday to Thursday.
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
* Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time.
* Reactive and PPM duties. Electrical and Mechanical.
* Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly.
* Carry out fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities.
* Willingly take up opportunities for training in specialist plant and equipment.
The Candidate:
* A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both manual and automated production equipment
* Understanding of continuous improvement initiatives
* Strong team working capabilities
* Able to read drawings and electrical diagrams
