Remit:

Role:
As Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance activities In the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake reactive maintenance measures to minimise machine downtime Reacting to breakdowns and faults The successful Maintenance Engineer will follow and create new predictive maintenance programmes Creation of standard maintenance procedures To undertake, and be responsible for ad hoc project work within the remit of the Maintenance Department Responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of machinery including injection moulding machines, robots, automated packaging lines, chillers, conveyors, water heaters and material feed systems
Experience:
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 Qualification 18th Edition electrical qualification a big advantage Demonstrable experience within injection moulding or other plastics manufacturing disciplines Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Able to work on own initiative Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings Awareness of safety regulations and CE regulations
