Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Central Bham (Free Parking)

Salary: up to £34’255

Overtime: x1.5

Flexible hours: between 6am-5pm

Key requirements

• Electrical Bias / Mechanical Maintenance & Plumbing experience
• Building / Machinery Maintenance (saws, spindles / motors etc)
• Electrical Installation Experience (17th / 18th edition)

Duties:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing and maintaining equipment, machinery, fire exits, smoke alarms etc
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that require maintenance
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Respond to maintenance requests from various departments in a timely manner
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

Experience / Requirements

• Previous experience in general and or electrical maintenance is preferred
• Must hold an electrical qualification (17th or 18th Edition)
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and basic plumbing is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints & instruction manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with staff and client
