Position: Music Teacher School Level: Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
- Inspire students to explore different genres, instruments, and musical techniques.
- Develop students' musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation through a well-rounded curriculum.
- Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular music activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching music at secondary school level, ideally across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
