The role holder works as the secondary point of contact for several National Chain / major multiple customers with responsibility for executing account management activity to deliver the agreed joint business plans with customers and our budgeted volumes and profitability. In doing so, provides and manages the delivery of a cost-effective and profitable cohort of accounts that satisfies the customer and business requirements.
- Maintaining knowledge of, and reporting internally both upwards and amongst peers, on new developments in the marketplace, especially with regards to accounts and specific category areas.
- Full account management and P&L responsibility including OTC category management as necessary, forecasting, promotions, price increase management, new line listings and meeting availability measures and metrics.
- Managing the seasonal flu category for AAH National Chain customers that require this service, working with internal teams to forecast stock requirements and product allocations, being the primary point of customer contact for flu.
- Undertaking regular business reporting, reviewing information to highlight and act on any issues found relating to areas including product availability and compliance to terms.
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly escalating concerns via the relevant internal channels to ensure customer complaints, enquiries or concerns are dealt with in a positive manner.
- Using the specialist sales team and central resources where required to support the development and delivery of required customer solutions.
