Job Summary 

We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Manager to join our Food Service team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Wigan. You'll be working for our specialist division supplying the Foodservice, Quick Service Retail, & B2B sectors with prepared fresh produce. Uniquely, we provide key customer and marketing insights to our clients which form our NPD and innovation roadmap. Providing the highest levels of customer service and superior product quality are paramount to our customer satisfaction and subsequent business success. 
Accountable for the delivery of set targets within the Quick Service Restaurants channel, you will build relationships with key blue-chip customer contacts to ensure our business has a granular understanding of what is important to our clients. You'll take these learnings and will apply what is important to Agrial, in a way that drives mutual business and adds value. You'll be responsible for turnover & profit through the management of the profit & loss, and internal admin/analysis. You'll be apt at using category, insight & trend data to inform your business decisions.

Agrial Fresh Produce is one of three UK food manufacturing factories who are owned by the French co-operative group, Agrial. Agrial has operations across 18 regions with 280 farming outlets. We're a business serious about sustainability, climate change and ethical working practices. 
As well as the 3 UK factories we also have a UK farming operation – Agrial Fresh Farms. All our UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial's vegetable division. The business is more recognisable in the UK by its Florette salad brand and we are now one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. We have a recipe for success through our EPIC values and working together as one team. Our Wigan site is a well-established business unit that processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK's well-known retailers and restaurants. We are based on Martland Park Industrial Estate, which is ideal for travel on the M61, M6 and M62.   

Main Responsibilities 

•    To manage effectively the designated relationships and commercial performance at all times across allocated customers
•    Develop optimised sales volumes, value and profitability in accordance with set objectives and budgets.
•    Develop and maintain the most effective relationship with customers by illustrating excellent account management through customer service and providing relevant data within agreed timescales
•    Plan and execute with precision new listings, delistings & promotional activity internally and with external customers. This includes agreeing contingency product lines with customers.
•    Coordination and effective execution of feasible EPD & NPD launches internally and with Customers, ensuring Projects are fully costed and approved internally prior to customer proposals and launches
•    Facilitate a matrix relationship between the business and customer cross functionally and at the most appropriate senior levels.
•    Report effectively internal commercial updates to relevant departments and meeting forums using MS Excel and PowerPoint formats ensuring data accuracy, with updates clearly presented in a professional manner  

Skills and Experience Required 
•    Can demonstrate previous success when dealing within a Foodservice and/or Retail environment through volume and profitability growth
•    Demonstrates very strong account management skills through structured account and business planning
•    Show ability to co-ordinate / lead all internal functions to align to internal & external Objectives
•    Financial & volume forecasting accuracy and the ability to present sales numbers by fully explaining causes for any fluctuations to forecasts
•    Demonstrate good administration skills by managing requirements both internally and with customers.
