You will play a key part in providing social care service and exemplar social work practice within the Recovery Wellbeing Community Mental Health Team ensuring that excellence of service is provided across the department. You will contribute to change management, concluding ECC's transformation and ensuring it is configured for continuous improvement adhering to the Key Performance Indicators as provided by ECC under the Section 75 partnership agreement.

The Knightswick team provide an established and supportive environment in which your input and individual skills will be greatly valued. You need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be proactive in your approach to tasks and comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment. The team consists of multiple disciplines, including existing Social Workers, nursing, psychology, OT and Psychiatry, along with other associated professionals. All of this will provide you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience to further enhance you career.

About Us

At Essex County Council Adult Services our mission is clear. We want to make the best and most sustainable use of all resources available to the adult, their families, and carers. To ensure they have access to information and tools to enable them to live healthily and independently for as long as possible, and to exercise choice and control over their lives. And to ensure the safety, dignity, and quality of life for all the adults we work with. To make sure we achieve our goals, we've transformed our service to be far more proactive. Moving from focusing on long-term care and support, our new model is centred on four key principles - prevention, early intervention, enablement, and safeguarding. We're very proud of our service and the work we're doing with all our partners to build community capacity and resilience.
