National Account Manager Foodservice

The Company:

National Account Manager Foodservice end users.

Our client is looking for a National Account Manager solely dealing with the current end-user business within high street restaurants, quick service restaurants and coffee retailers. They currently have a number of active trading accounts but with the launch of a new product range, they are looking for an Account Manager that can actively drive new business with the current products and their new range. This is a classic role that would suit someone who can blend account management skills with an attitude to creating new business.

The Opportunity:

Seeking a National Account Manager to take personal responsibility for a number of Wholesale customers

1. To deliver the sales agenda across our Foodservice & QSR customer base which encompasses both major customers, Booker and Bestway and buying groups.
2. To be a leading voice for our Foodservice & QSR customers internally. Supporting the Head of Sales and working cross functionally with the wider team to help build and deliver a sustainable, customer focused strategy for food brands.
3. Develop JDP and promotional activity using your budgets to develop profitable business
4. Use your Impulse sector knowledge to influence at buyer / senior buyer level across the identified customer base.
5. Play a major role in channel planning, using your Impulse sector knowledge to input and help shape the future direction of our business across the Foodservice & QSR channel.

You:

Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background and be a National Account Manager with experience in Wholesale, Cash & Carry, Foodservice. You will need to have the ability to work cross-functionally with complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management principles.
