National Account Manager, Greenford, London, supporting the growth and management of the Retail channel, whilst ensuring that both the customer needs and internal business and operational needs are met. Reporting to the Head of Retail in a team of 4.

The Role:
In this full-time role as a National Account Manager, you will be focused on the management of Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Costco and some Export customers. It is customer facing, involving sales visits to new and existing customers, with a view to further growing this area of the business which is up 250% over the last 5 years delivering £15m+ in retail sales over the last year.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Day to day customer management
• Recommending and implementing promotional plans and in store activation (trade marketing)
• Management of promotions and tracking compliance
• Building category stories to facilitate new and existing SKUs listing and distribution
• Track spending to ensure that we get the best return
• Tracking business performance and making recommendations to improve performance
• Providing regularly updated forecasts by customer for supply chain within 25% forecast accuracy
• Managing and administering multiple customer performance reports
• Working with all business departments to provide information
• Monitoring and reporting on future sales and marketing activity
• Completing JBP Negotiations
• EPOS reporting on a weekly basis using Elm portal
• To contribute to the Health & Safety, Food Safety and Socio-Environmental Belazu values
National Account Manager key skills and experience:
Ideally you will have a background including 2 or 3 years in an FMCG environment, or in a results-driven sales, marketing environment within FMCG and/or retail. The following competencies and behaviours are key to doing the job well, and are more vital than specific qualifications, but well developed Excel and Powerpoint skills, an analytical brain and experience in dealing with the retailers from a sales point of view will be important tools in this role. Education to degree level is useful rather than essential but good networking ability with an existing network of relevant industry contacts is preferable.

Terms
• 40 hrs/wk i.e. 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri (start and finish times flexible) with a 2 day/week office; 3 day/week WFH hybrid working model.
