Why this job matters
You day to day role is to design and deliver solutions for BT’s customers. Your design work will specialise in one of three distinct disciplines either network solutions, voice solutions or contact centre solutions. Our customers are generally external customers so you will be recognised with that enhanced level of visibility and responsibility.

What you’ll be doing
- Work as part of a global team of dedicated designers.
- Deliver medium to large designs, potentially serving as the design lead.
- Possess expert knowledge of overall design principles.
- Contribute to technical discussions, guiding others to better understand and improve design principles.
- Impart design principles to senior levels, influencing future directions, potentially transitioning to customer-facing roles.
Skills and Experience
- Understand ACI hardware and topologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing ACI logical and physical constructs
- Ideally the candidate should have (or be working towards) building their network automation experience in areas such Ansible or Terraform.
- Ideally the candidate should be Cisco ACI certified – CCNP Data Centre or ACI Specialist.
- Ideally real world experience of migrating from legacy DC LAN environment (for example Cisco IOS or NX-OS based switched environments) into Cisco ACI
