Network Engineer

Network Engineer - 6 - month contract.

My customer requires an experienced Network Engineer has a skillset within network and voice. You will strong knowledge with Cisco (Routing & Switching), Cisco ISE, and Voice services (VoIP, QoS)

The Network Engineer should have strong experience troubleshooting switches and routers using Cisco. The Network Engineer should have strong knowledge of DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP. Configuration, troubleshooting and network administration.

This Network Engineer would have experience with Firewalls, ideally Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewall ensuring the security and integrity of the network.

Primary day to day responsibilities will for the Network engineer will include:

* Previous experience as a Cisco Network Engineer
* Strong Cisco Networking skills (administration, configuration, and troubleshooting)
* Strong technical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
* Familiarity with Cisco Voice Services (VoIP, QoS)
* Security/firewall experience: - (Palo Alto, Checkpoint firewall)
* Hands on experience in configuring, managing, and maintaining Cisco ISE.
* Managing and maintaining SolarWinds monitoring platform.
* Dell Networking (Dell Core switching)
* Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
* Experience with the following would be beneficial: Cisco ISE, Meraki, F5 loadbalancers, NetScalar, DNVPN'S (4G connectivity and comms)
* Any experience with Operation Technology (OT) would be beneficial.
* Relevant Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP etc)

This Network engineer would be required to travel to Worthing on a weekly basis (Hybrid).
