Job description

New Business Executive - Manchester - £30,000 - Hybrid (3 days in office 2 from home)

Cloudscope are recruiting on behalf of a digital marketing agency, for their Manchester office. This role will be at the forefront of promoting and advocating the diverse range of services and products they offer to their clients. You will be tasked with expanding their clients base across the North of England, from their bustling hub in Manchester, supported by their Head Office in Essex. The role will involve travel to client meetings using your own transport, that of which you will be reimbursed. You will report to the Group New Business Director also based in Manchester.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media channels.
  • Set up and attend meetings, both in person and virtually, alongside the Group New Business Director to understand client needs and wants.
  • Promote the business regularly, emphasising group offerings and specific products through various channels, including social media.
  • Visit new developments in and around, but not limited to, the Manchester area to provide valuable insights to our clients.
  • Attend events/exhibitions, report back to the Group New Business Director, and follow up on conversations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall knowledge of business offerings and improve service delivery when promoting the group.
  • Provide regular reports to the Group New Business Director and the business as required.
  • Conduct internal meetings to relay client requirements to the business.
  • Keep administration systems up-to-date and prioritise good housekeeping practices.This includes archiving old files and maintaining accurate client details.
  • At all times comply with the company policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of client facing, supporting clients directly in a service-provision organisation.
  • Sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, including job number creation, invoicing, and quoting processes
  • Ambitious and driven, with a strong work ethic

This role will suit an individual that has experience in New Business Sales and confident generating leads. You will be happy speaking to potential clients on the phone and face to face. You must be within commutable distance of their central Manchester office and have a full UK driving license.
