As a Support Worker with Millennium, you will provide person centred support to empower adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will support them to live a fulfilled and independent life at home and in the community.
As part of your role, you will work alongside our dedicated Team, who will support you through team meetings, during which time you can reflect on the person-centred support being provided and have an active input into an individual’s development.
You will receive training around autism, forensic risk, trauma informed support and positive behavioural support. We will enable you to gain your essential skills certificate. You will have regular supervision meetings with your team leader to support your development.
Please note - We are not an agency and want to provide you with security and development with a contracted career role.

What you will you do
- Play an integral role in the team and contribute to updating support plans.
- Work as part of a team in a challenging environment.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support.
- Supporting individuals to get involved in different activities in and around their local areas, in line with their hobbies and interests.
- Empowering people to gain life skills; Maintaining their own home, shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing their own finances and other aspects of their life.
