Project Overview: Be part of one of the most crucial construction endeavours at the Sellafield Site! The Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) project is instrumental in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up program. We're seeking dedicated individuals to contribute to this vital mission. The BEP will encase nuclear waste retrieved from original waste plants in concrete, facilitating modern storage solutions. Primarily focused on waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, it will also handle waste from other legacy plants: First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.
Responsibilities:
- Safely design and deliver the plant and associated works.
- Condition wastes from various donor plants in alignment with project needs.
- Support Construction Director and Lead Construction Manager.
- Coordinate white/blue-collar resources.
- Manage administrative tasks including data tracking, reporting, and meeting coordination.
- Ensure compliance with stakeholder requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction environment.
- Proficiency in data collation and report generation.
- Strong IT skills, especially in Excel.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on excellence.
- Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
