Position Overview:
My Client is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, offering advanced nursing care and clinical expertise to patients in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practice.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Prescribing medications and treatments within scope of practice and in accordance with established protocols.
- Providing patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with advanced practice certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Fully qualified prescriber (v300)
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care or a similar setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
