The Hollies Nursery is seeking an unqualified Nursery Assistant to join their team, working on a full or part time capacity.
We pride ourselves on providing a service to enable parents to work and live their daily lives knowing their children are cherished and cared for to the highest standard by our dedicated team of professional childcare colleagues.
As Nursery Assistant you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum “Where Children Shine”
Your roles and responsibilities as Nursery Assistant would include –
Performance
- Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work
- Being positive, confident and honest
- Having great initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Knowing and upholding our policies, procedures and established working practices
Outstanding Childcare
- Being a “key person” for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
- Using our unique “Where Children Shine” curriculum to observe, plan and assess children’s learning opportunities
- Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
Working with Others
- Be a dedicated team player, and valuing the experience and skills of your colleagues
- Continually striving to work together to deliver thee very best care and education for the children
- Supporting colleagues with empathy and care
