Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in our nursery. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and activities
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness in the nursery
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Observe and monitor children's behavior, noting any concerns or issues
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
