Are you an inspirational Teaching Assistant who is motivated to change children’s lives?
If you are, we have the job for you, here at Whitehall Nursery and Infant School. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow in an environment where you can take an active role in supporting both the academic progress and the emotional wellbeing of the children in your care. The job is class based giving you the time and space to develop supportive and nurturing relationships with your children. The 33.75 hours per week, also allows you time to share your love of learning in running extra-curricular clubs of your choice or particular interest.
Working as part of 3 form entry you will have the support of great teachers and TAs. They will support and nurture your teaching and pastoral care. Together, you will have an environment where pedagogical understanding and professional practise develops daily.
We know - otherwise you wouldn’t be thinking of going for this job - that you already have a good understanding of child development and excellent maths and literacy skills but we still need you to be willing and eager to keep learning, along with the rest of the Whitehall Team.
As a whole school community, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and we know you will share this commitment with us. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and records check. For all shortlisted candidates we will carry out online checks as part of our safeguarding due diligence.
