Early Years Teaching Assistant vacancy - summer term!

- Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving school in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education and be ready to start immediately, working Monday to Friday.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Assist with planning and preparing engaging activities that promote child development.
- Work closely with the lead teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing outcomes with the lead teacher and parents.
- Help manage classroom resources and set up for daily activities.
- Provide one-to-one support and group support to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among the children.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the classroom.
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teaching staff.
